PB & Berry Bites- DIY

I am not sure if you have ever been to NYC in the summer. If not, let me sum it up for you… hot, sticky and HOT. So when I can be inside I am, but with two border collies that gets kinda hard. We are out and about a lot, whether it’s the park, dog park or just a really long walk. When we make it back to our upper east side apartment, I alway want to give them some sort of cold treat!

I just got these amazing popsicles molds from amazon, and I am trying to find every way to use them! And of course I want to use them for the pups, so here comes PUPsicles! They are so easy to make and so good!

All you need is:

2 cups of plain yogurt

⅓ cup of fresh blueberries

Step 1.

Combine yogurt and blueberries in blender to form a smoothie.

Step 2.

Pour smoothie mix into the molds, dividing evenly

Step 3.

Place sticks or popsicle cover and freeze for 6 hours.

Step 4.

Enjoy! For easy removal from molds, run under warm water for a few seconds to loosen it from the mold and it should slide right out!

Also: Blueberries can be alternated with diced strawberries or raspberries for variations.

To make some that you can enjoy along with your fur-child just add 3 tablespoons of sugar, honey or agave syrup and a dash of lemon juice to the recipe for a yummy fur-mamacicle!
