Have you ever wondered how they make the makeup that you put on your face every single day? How they know that it is safe for you and your skin? Well, we gals have gone full investigator on the products that we have been using for years, and to say we were so upset about what we found is a total understatement! Animal cruelty is a real thing, and major companies are still doing it to the fullest (not to name any names, but here is a list). Once we found out that animals were still being used for testing, not ever seeing the sun, or living a life at all, we were outraged and started looking for the best brands out there that were doing things the right way! It is such a warm feeling to know that there are so many companies popping up that are changing the game of how we test products! And one of them Is Jillian Dempsey!

Okay, let's just get it out of the way. Yes, her last name is Dempsey. And yes, her husband is McDreamy. And YES, we are even more obsessed with her for landing the doctor that stole all of our hearts! Besides her being a total babe and a bad ass mother, she is also an animal lover who is changing the way we look at makeup and skin care. Jillian is a well-known makeup artist who knows exactly what she's doing, so when it comes to making her own line, she only picks the best ingredients that are both natural and organic.

We got the chance to try out a few of these amazing items and to say I was blown away is a complete understatement. First off, let's start with the eye liner! I don’t wear a lot of makeup on a daily basis, mainly because I am just lazy and I don't really care whether people like the way my face looks or not (I should probably work on that). But what I don't leave the house without is eye liner. I have really light blue eyes, so when I don't have eyeliner on, I feel like I just look dead. I am always on the lookout for an eyeliner that doesn't smudge and that I don't have to reapply every few hours. When I first tried the Kohl Eyeliner by Jillian, I was automatically obsessed with it. It is made with all organic ingredients, waterproof, and has natural antioxidants in it. Not to mention the color is AMAZING!

I also got to the chance to try the lip tint and the cheek tint. For someone who doesn't wear a lot of makeup, I like products that are one, easy for me to use, and two, make me look like I dont have makeup on. I like that all natural dewy look that's trendy these days! Both of these products are applied with a touch of your finger! It really doesn't get much easier than that. They are also all organic, have natural antioxidants, no fragrances or dyes, and of course, are not tested on animals!

Basically Jillian Dempsey is amazing and her makeup line is just as great!
