12 Ways to Help Dog Moms Get Through the Covid-19 Crises
We know that we are in scary times, but we also have faith that things will get better and hopefully, they will get better sooner rather than later. As we are all stuck at home, whether we are working or home with kids and partners, we are all starting to go a little insane. Thankfully, we gals have 4 legged furballs that are the best stress reliever of all time. We have pulled together a list of things that will keep both you and your pup sane in these crazy times.
Foster a dog! They will keep you company and you can SAVE a life!
Okay, I know this is a big suggestion, but why not make the most of your time being stuck at home and help save a pup! Temporary foster care is a great way to allow shelter pets the opportunity to spend some special time in a home. Animal shelters in cities across the U.S. ― including New York City; Phoenix; St. Louis; Memphis, Tennessee; Norfolk, Virginia; and Austin, Texas ― have put out pleas for people to consider fostering. Even if you are only able to home a pup for a couple of weeks (due to your temporary working from home status), this can do AMAZING things for a dog’s self-confidence and can ultimately result in them becoming more adoptable! Check out Best Friends Animal Society for a full list of rescues in need near you.

Try new recipes from the Pretty Fluffy cookbook and show off your skills!
Literally every recipe in this dog cookbook looks good enough to eat as a human! If you’re thinking “but everything is sold out in stores!”, don’t worry, many of these recipes can be made with few ingredients already in your pantry! We gals feel that making homemade dog treats will help you bond in a whole new way! And break some rules… let your pup lick the spatula this time! Pretty Fluffy is one of our favorite peers and she just came out with a new cookbook fully for your DOG! Check out her site for more information!
Workout together and track your Fi steps!
Cabin fever? Get outside and get those steps in! There is no easier and more affordable way to break up the monotony of your day than to get up and get moving. Not to mention, your pup will be very thankful for the exercise! All of us gals use Fi Smart Collars, not only to make sure that our babies are always safe and we can see where they are at all times, but we are all very competitive and we love to make sure we are high in the Fi breed rankings! Learn more about the Fi Collars here!
If you like competition, take this a step further and invite your fellow dog moms to a Fi step challenge! Who can get the most steps in on their daily walk? ...Winner buys the wine for the next girl’s night!

Keep your pup’s brain busy and play some new games during these hard times. We love a good scruffy mat, you can get one on Amazon here, Chewy also has a great selection of inveravite toys and games for your pup. Content; build your Insta and get dem likes!
What better time than now to get all that content you have been planning! Some cute indoor shots, backyard photos and walk shots! This is also a great time to learn lightroom and photoshop! We gals love a good lightroom filter, here are some of our favorites who provide amazing presets, 123 Presets (has a SUPER great deal going on!), The Puppy Presets, Effortlyss Presets, and Light & Airy.
Go on a car ride and get some fresh air!
This is my go-to activity! Whether it is too hot, too cold, raining, or snowing, if I’m feeling sick or even just lazy, a windows-down car ride is a great way to get out of the house! Dogs are all about the smells, so roll those windows down and allow them to stick their heads out of the window and exercise their brains! Check out our post on safety while traveling with your pups!
